Hello Everyone,

This is my first year of joining in the fun over at Amy's place. I do enjoy seeing all the beautiful quilts every year. So decided to jump on board this year, with my I spy quilt.

Those of you who read me often are probably sick of this quilt by now ;) LOL Welcome to those of you coming over from Amy's.

 My little guy really likes it :) In this picture you can see him lifting a flap. All the colored squares are flaps, and you when lift them up there is a color co-ordinated animal or vehicle. He loves both!

Measures: 60"x60"
Fabrics: Sunkissed, Ten Little Things, Chevron
Designed, pieced and quilted by me.

March goal

Hello Ya'all,

I have decided to join Shannon and Melissa for


 
I skipped Jan and Feb, but am going to try and do each month from now on.

So, my March goal is to finish Isaiah's I spy quilt.

I spy something Red....

Is it this truck?....

 

 I spy something yellow...

Is it these cute elephants?...

 So a lift the flap I spy quilt! Love those chevrons.

I also have 10 of these little panels, from the Ten Little Things fabric line.

 

My goal is to finish piecing this and get started quilting it. I would LOVE to finish quilting it, but we'll see how far I can get.

Fabric shopping

  Hello All,

I hope you're enjoying some lovely Fall weather. It's beautiful here. Cool at night, warm in the day.

My shopping spree this week:

I bought this gorgeous FQ bundle of Chevrons from Fabric Worm. I  love the tone on tone colors. These are going into Isaiahs I spy quilt.

I am still in love with the Sunkissed fabric line by Sweetwater I found these on sale at Heirloom Patch, for only $6.99 a yard!! (If you decide to buy from this place, beware...the shipping is SLOW!)

 

I will be using the small pinstrip for Isaih's quilt.

And I think I'll pare up this gray with these lovely charms, Simply Color by Vanessa and Co. Which I got from Green Fairy quilts. She is still having a great sale on her precuts!

I think I am going to make another 4patch quilt, like this one. Only bigger. With the gray/Simply Color. And would like to know if anyone would be interested in doing a follow along?
