WIP Wednesday, making progress

Hello Everyone,

California is getting some rain, I hope the fires are getting rained on. They really need to be put out.

I'm finally making some progress on my quilt. I even found a name for it :) Cornerstones.

I'm chain piecing 2 geese blocks together.

I need 4 of these units per block.

And here is the finished block. You can see why I am calling it Cornerstones.

It feels good to have all that trimming done, so now I can get to the fun part of putting them all together.

Linking up with Lee and Lorna today. Thanks Ladies!

I really like how you've worked the neutral gingham into these blocks. Somehow I usually associate pink and blue baby projects with gingham, but this is a really refreshing take on the timeless fabric!

Greetings from Germany!

This looks promising! I like your combination of flying geese and "corner stones". I gather it's your own design... I'm looking forward to seeing more or this. Have a good day! (I'm glad to read you'll have some rain.)

I know what you mean about the trimming for the flying geese, can be a bit of a drag but look at the awesome results!

WooHoo! You made it through the drudgery of trimming a gazillion flying geese and now you're at the fun part! Such a pretty block and yes, Cornerstones is a perfect name!
