Hello everyone,
I've been quilting along on my friends baby quilt. Aren't these monkeys adorable??
I was having a hard time on my electric machine. I'm not sure why. Maybe the tension wasn't right, although I did mess with it some. Maybe I am just used to my treadle, or maybe it's because with my treadle, I can control the speed better.
Whatever the reason, I switched to my treadle and was able to finish the quilting without a problem.
It's not the best work, but it's not too bad either. I'm hoping once I wash it, it will look better :)
Here's the back of part of it.
I just have to finish putting the darling binding on (I'm using a zigzag fabric, soooo cute!) and then I'll be done. Just in time too, I want to get it washed and sent across the states to my friend in time for the baby shower.
Will show finished pictures soon!
Have a great day.
PS, don't forget to drop me a comment and leave me your name, if you're a wantobe quilter! LOTS of prizes you could win over at the Stash, come August.

What cute monkey fabric! I'm sure the quilt will be well loved by both the baby and the parents
Any baby would love that quilt! Good job!
Oh I can't wait to see the cute quilt IN PERSON, Dorian! You're doing a wonderful job, despite the frustrations with the machine. I'm glad you have a "spare" to work with! lol
