Hello All,
Spring is in the air here in N. California. The Redbuds are in bloom
As are some of my Iris's.
The oak trees are leafing out and we have some fruit on our plum tree!
And here's whats blooming inside...
My first attempt at raw edge applique. Not the greatest work.
But I had a lot of fun, especially with quilting it.
Here's the back, so bright and cheerful.
I'm also working on my Birds blog hop projects. I have one completed, and am hoping to get another one done before my day, next Wed.
I hope you all are getting a bit of sunshine too.
Linking up with Lorna today and Quilt Story, thanks Ladies!

Love the floral views outside!!! Send some more! You did a fabulous job on your stitching too! :-) Love the colors!
Oh, look at all of those lovely blooms! We're still waiting for things to bloom around here. The mesquite is always an indication of spring around here. And your fabric blooms are just as wonderful! Raw edge applique was the first kind of applique I tried. It seemed to be the most forgiving for me. Well done and I love your scrappy background!
You're in bloom and we're still buried in snow, with more on route this weekend...sigh... All the pretty spring things on your post brightened my day! Thanks for sharing!

Your applique flowers look great! All applique takes a lot of practice, at least in my experience. But you have a beautiful start with those happy flowers!
Oh, this is is so bright and pretty!
Thank you for the photos of the spring flowers. Here we still have mountains of snow in the yard.
Your raw edge applique is lovely, my friend ... :-) Pat
Spring sweet spring. Thanks for the photos of the flowers and your quilt.
Oh yes ... that little quilt definitely says Spring! We have had enough of the heat here in Perth (Western Australia) and are looking forward to the cooler nights that come with Autumn :)
I love the pretty colors of spring! Great flowers.
You are so lucky that spring has arrived. It may be a while before we see flowers here in Michigan. I love your applique. It is my favorite thing to do. I particularly like your quilting. Great job!
